Miss Theorbo Heroine should have gotten more face time.

So should have Miss Asian Italian-Harpsichordist, for entirely other reasons.

(it’s the harpsichord that’s Italian, btw)

  3. Enchanting. I liked the hint-of-a-smile interplay among the performers, but honestly, my eyes close when good music takes me elsewhere. Bravo, Sir Warren.

  4. Thank you, Warren. That was lovely.

Something pretty in return for you.

For those of us browsing on the iPhone: can you give an artist name and a track name?

We might be able to view on YouTube, even if your Flash video doesn’t work.

Beautiful. Most of these instruments are incredibly old precursors to more modern classical instruments. I didn’t even know they were still around. Probably c. 15-1600’s, just as a guess.
