Is not the same as the EXCALIBUR remake Bryan Singer’s attached to. Hollywood Gang and I were using "Excalibur" as shorthand. But the treatment doc is still currently headed with Untitled Arthurian Project.

  1. I’m glad you are working on a Arthurian project that is not the same as the EXCALIBUR remake. That would be like a GODFATHER remake. EXCALIBUR remake doesn’t make any kind of sense at all.

  2. As much as I love The Usual Suspects, based on Singer’s subsequent work, I have a hard time imagining him producing anything that would do Boorman’s film justice.

    (Which is not to say I’ve disliked anything Singer’s done, just that he’s never managed to come close to realizing the vast potential he showed with TUS.)

  3. Please, please, please, include some monsters. I wait AGES to see a good Arthurian movie with lots of monsters. I have hope in your movie, Warren. It can be great.

    The EXCALIBUR remake looks very silly for me. EXCALIBUR is a classic. Why donĀ“t adapt the myth again?
