It’s amazing what turns up on Google Video from time to time. I was kind of surprised, last night, to find a complete copy of Tarkovsky’s STALKER there. It’s a little slow for modern Western sensibilities, I know. But fuck it, learn a new skill. The slow creep of the film is essential to its effects. And for extra internet points, you can wallow in the knowledge that many of the people you see in the film died early due to it being shot in locations that just wriggled with toxins.
If you’ve got nothing pressing today, sit down and watch a film with me.
