  1. Fear And Loathing In Gonzovision…

Spotted over at Warren Ellis’s blog…a 1978 BBC Documentary on Hunter S. Thompson. :)……

  2. If you’re looking for a full rez version of this it’s included as a DVD extra on the Criterion edition of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. Of course it’s also nice to have free access to this kind of thing.

  3. That’s funny, I just started rereading Las Vegas today. Only hours ago. Strange.

    Old hack. Good riddance.

  4. Nice find! Something to listen to in the background this chill, chill morn.

Particularly nice how straightforward it is to get the AVI.

  5. Random-ish question: anyone know what either the choral piece in the first half or the orchestral fanfare later that sounds *just* like something in Spaceballs are called?

  6. […] in the meantime, go watch a documentary about Hunter S. Thompson. […]

  7. Bit weird, was watching this on Google Video the other night and it prompted me to order the “Breakfast With Hunter” documentary. Yentob’s a bit of a knob, though.

  8. I did a great interview with Steadman a couple of months ago, he was one of the best interviews i had ever done. really smart answers, incredibly inspiring artist.

  9. you know, he killed himself because all is lost. just saying…
