WOW. That’s beautiful. Reminds me a lot of the palette Tony Scott used on MAN ON FIRE, really harsh, deep colours.
I lost interest in Desolation Jones when I heard Williams III was leaving the book, but these two pieces by Zezelj have renewed it.

You know, because the writing ain’t so hot.
I like this piece even better than the first one you showed.
HOLYFUCKSHITMONKEYASSBITCHWHORE.
That is awesome.
Okay, so I’m not worried about the art anymore.
God damn.
Mike Black’s said it all.
Wow, that’s really gorgeous.
You know how to pick an artist, that’s for damned sure.

Not good enough to withstand a bad artist.
I was never a fan of Zezelj’s chiarascuro(sp?) art, but from the two samples so far, I’m defintely picking this one up!!!
I don’t know why, but this is giving off a huge cowboy bebop vibe.
That image is spectacular. I was a little concerned with JH Williams III leaving the book, but upon seeing this image there are no worries now!

Olhando a imagem acima, Ellis encontrou um substituto à altura. Resta ver como é a narrativa do sujeito. & aqui há outra ilustração, desta vez colorida. [...]
Great cover, I didnt know there was another series od DJ on the cards – thats good news to begin with. Danijel Zezelj is a good choice, I liked his work on El Diablo.
When is the new series due?
