The Final RED Poster

A composite of the character posters that came before.

WARREN ELLIS is a graphic novelist, author and columnist. His new novel, GUN MACHINE, available now from Mulholland Books, is being developed for television by Chernin Entertainment and FOX. His first non-fiction book, from FSG, is due in 2014. RED 2, the sequel to the Bruce Willis-Helen Mirren film RED based on his book of the same name, will be released in August 2013.

Magnificent, especially in terms of capturing a shitload of crazy in one frame of John Malkovich.

Looks amazing. This is the action movie I’ve been waiting for all year.
Seems to me Malkovich is firing… a grenade launcher? Look close!
So, if it’s a grenade laucher, from where these shells are coming?????
hehehehehe, anyway it’s a pretty cool movie poster.
Why are there bullet casings ejecting from Malcovich’s grenade launcher?
Otherwise pretty.
The finished film looks to resemble your original work and James Grady’s Mad Dogs, two pieces that I love. How does it feel to know that something you created now has Morgan Freeman and Helen Mirren acting in it? You richly deserve the boost to your profile
The PG-13 rating is a little disheartening. Studios gotta get paid.

Looks good, can’t wait for the movie! One question: wouldove to read the book, do you suggest book first, or film first? Or is the film different enough that it does not matter?
Never mind all that bourgeoise blarney; when is “Captain Swing and the Electrical Pirates of Cindery Island” coming out on Bloo-Ray and 3-D ConArt crystals? I must have this product soon or I will shite 45 pounds of various capacitors. Only one issue in and I’m intrigued. It’ll make a great bookshelf partner to volumes of Moore’s “League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.”
Besides, I still have this personal fantasy: I want a hyper-collimation device that works in conjunction with a stun gun so I can aim it, create a strong negative field on my target’s bedraggled hindquarters and have 30,000 volts at 1.2 amperes make him/her/it jump 40 feet like a damned FROG, YOU HEAR ME, BOY?? DON’T MAKE ME LIGHT YOU UP!! Yes, we love Warren, but let’s not kid ourselves into thinking that’s always good for WARREN. Good morning!
Vaguely disappointed by PG-13 but that will pass in thirty seconds and my excitement level for this will return to ludicrous.
