We are pleased to announce that Chadwick Ginther—pictured with store manager David Lawrence (right) and sales rep Terry Toews (left)—from McNally Robinson Booksellers in Winnipeg is the winner of this season’s HarperCollins Handselling Award! For his support of Warren Ellis’s quirky and brilliant novel Crooked Little Vein, Chadwick was awarded $500 cash and McNally Robinson will receive $1000 co-op for its support of this season’s top handseller. Congratulations Chadwick, and thanks once again to all the other entrants!

  1. Awesome its in Winnipeg we were handselling your book well. Ironically, I got my copy of CLV from amazon bundled with Spook Country. But thats fucking awesome regardless.

  2. I bought mine at the downtown Winnipeg location(coincidentally along with Spook Country). Both locations are great and locally owned.

  3. Is it just me or does “Chadwick Ginther” look a little like Warren himself? Is this just one of your illegitimate man-children, set up for an easy windfall, Mr. Ellis? Don’t think you are fooling anyone…”Chadwick Ginther”, yeah right. Next time just go for “Ludicrous P. Phakename”.
