The earthquake, which had a magnitude of 7.2, struck off the town of Pangandaran at 1519 local time (0819 GMT), causing a two-metre-high wave… at least 2,000 people are also thought to have been displaced from the area…

  1. I’ve been worrying about this, as I know someone who’s somewhere in Indonesia visiting his family right now.

  2. The ironic part is money was spent for better monitoring technology of tsunamis after that big horrible one but it doesn’t cover the area of Java. I’ve been watching CNN for a few hours now and they did a 20 second blip of it then it was back to President Bush cussing when he didn’t know his mic was on or the missle attack in Lebanon.

  3. Man, that’s like New Orleans getting hit twice.

  4. Don’t worry. No white people died.
