Waking The Naga

One of the nicest pieces of straight-up psych rock I’ve heard in ages. The album COIL SEA by Coil Sea is out on Thrill Jockey on Aug 24.

  1. You might like music that’s played on: http://www.kfjc.org/ . It is a college radio station of Foothills Junior College in Los Gatos Hills, CA. They used to be very hard to find, indeed, before the internet.

I’m currently listening to: Lucifer Lazer Light by Annapurna Illusion, from the album The Fifth Veda and it shares elements with music that you post.

They’ve been playing this kind of stuff for at least 20 years that I personally know of, when I’d travel to the Bay Area
