Apparently Pownce is great. I accepted an invite to Pownce from a friend. Apparently Pownce does all kinds of cool stuff. Pownce relies on something called AIR from Adobe to do its cool stuff. You have to download and install it before downloading the Pownce client that make stuff go from your desktop.
The AIR download link doesn’t work.
Apparently Pownce don’t give much of a shit that the thing that makes the Pownce client go is unavailable. So fuck Pownce, really.
(EDIT: someone ended up sending me a copy of AIR. Unbelievable. Am now at http://www.pownce.com/ellis/ while I evaluate the thing. Don’t be offended if I don’t accept friends requests, please.)
